EWATV anniversary ride was a hoot. Twenty machines and somewhere around 30 people. Weather wasn't too cooperative. We had rain that increased in my intensity until we got high enough in elevation that it turned to snow. When we got back we started a fire and the weather let up and turned into a beautiful afternoon. It was great seeing so many new faces and we even had some people we haven't seen in quite a while. I would like to personally thank members Allen M and Dianne S M for being fantastic hosts and allowing the club to use their property as base camp.
From David D W:
A little rainy day ride for the first ride of the year for the EWATV club; had lots of rain; turned to snow about 4000 feet. Twenty rigs and 30 plus people out for a fun day Northwest of Waits Lake up to Stensgar Mountain. Only two of us made it to the top to check on road conditions. Still has[SIC] 2 or 3 feet of snow on the way to the top. In spots your[SIC] riding a crown where one wrong move could either send you stuck against the bank or tumbling down the mountain. Did not recommend the rest to try: plus it was so foggy there was no view. After getting back to where we left the tow rigs we had a great BBQ. The rain finally quit and the fog lifted. Overall it was a Great Day!
