Riverside State Park ORV Project - Cancelled

  • September 10, 2019
  • 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Riverside State Park ORV area

This will be a week-day opportunity for EWATV members to honor our agreement with the state and assist Riverside Park Rangers install emergency route markers along ATV trails, and re-stain the public shelter at the ATV beginners route (where we normally place flags). This is the area our club has adopted.  Look for our plaque posted there.  Remember, the hours we volunteer are used by the Rangers to apply for state grants.  Our volunteer time equates to funding for park operations, which has a great and convenient ORV riding area.

Project begins at 10:00am at the ORV beginners area, and will last a couple hours depending on how many people participate.  Many hands make light work, and It should be a fun time to hob-nob with other club members and do a little community service.

No Discover Pass is required to enter the park to help the rangers that day.  But if you want to stay and play on your ATV afterward, a day pass is only $10.00.

As info, Sept 28 is also free day at Riverside State Park.

THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED BECAUSE MOST OF THE WORK WAS ACCOMPLISHED ON SEP 7TH, AND DUE  RAIN PREDICTED ON THIS DAY.
